Sean Cure, the 10-year-old boy hit in the head by a jetski during a family outing last week, remains in Starship Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The accident happened at Maraetai Beach in east Auckland and left Sean with severe head injuries. Maritime NZ is investigating the accident.
